This is the fine print, written so you can actually read it. It covers using this website and registering for what we offer. The Headmaster and Me LLC runs this site out of Tehachapi, CA. Questions? Emailhello@theheadmasterandme.com.

The short version

Use the site to learn about our workshops and sign your kids up. Pay what a workshop costs, show up, and we'll teach. Be decent about it and we'll never have a problem.

Who we are

The Headmaster and Me LLC, an educational vendor in Tehachapi, CA. We offer enrichment workshops and one-on-one instruction to families directly and as an approved vendor to charter schools.

Registering and paying

A seat is for one month. If you enroll a student for several months, that's a separate seat each month. Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown on the workshop before you check out.

Payment is one-time, through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our systems. Signing up isn't final until payment goes through.

One-on-one instruction is arranged directly. Buying a one-on-one reserves it; Mike arranges the actual times with you afterward.

Charter families order through their school, not this cart — the school issues a certificate and we invoice the school.

Refunds

Our refund policy is its own page: Refunds. It's the part of these terms that covers getting your money back.

Using the site

Don't try to break, overload, or scrape the site, and don't use it to do anything unlawful. The workshop materials, blog posts, and text on this site are ours — you're welcome to read and share them, but not to republish them as your own.

What we promise, and what we don't

We put real care into what we teach, but we can't promise a particular result for any child — teaching doesn't work that way. The site is provided as-is; we don't warrant that it will always be available or error-free. Nothing here is legal, medical, or financial advice.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, The Headmaster and Me LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the site or a workshop, and our total liability won't exceed what you paid us for the thing in question. Some states don't allow certain limits, in which case they simply don't apply to you.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes up on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
