Jr. Welding
$495 / month
The same weekly three-hour introduction to fabricating, cutting, and welding, taught for younger students in grades 6 through 8. Students learn shop safety, the equipment, and technique.
The workshop runs August through November, and again April through July.
What to wear: Students wear thick cotton pants (blue jeans or better) and leather shoes, and buy their own welding cap, welding shirt, and safety glasses.
